MEASURING NITROUS OXIDE N2O
Nitrous oxide, which comes mainly from agriculture, industry and power stations, is one of the most polluting greenhouse gases. Its evolution, slow and minor in time, implies the need to use very sensitive and stable measurement systems. In order to improve ambient air quality for humans and the environment, these emissions must be monitored and reduced. Analysis of concentrations is necessary to define the sources of N2O and to monitor the effects of reduction methods.
